I love LBDs!! I thought I had enough little black dresses in my wardrobe that I could pull out for this event but after fingering through my choices, I was only able to select one dress that would be suitable for a holiday party (with the right accessories of course).
While all LBDs may look the same from afar, I think the material plays a really big role in the overall look that one is trying to achieve. For cocktail dresses, I prefer my fabric to be more dramatic - silk, lace, or a polyester blend. If it is a simple dress, I will either go all out with the accessories and make the dress my canvas or go for a dress with embellishments.
So between these three choices, which one was best suited for my taste? (For reference I am 95lbs and 5'4")

PLUS: This is my go-to Little Black Dress when I want something tight, literally. I got this probably about three years ago and have worn it a handful of times for several difficult events and it works every time! I usually just change up my accessories accordingly but I seriously love this dress and wish I bought a backup. I did however get this in the navy/blue/white combo (here) the design better is better seen on that one.
MINUS: This might be too revealing for a company party. Oh and it slowly rides up as one walks so with enough drinks (doesn't help that party is open bar...), well no one wants to imagine that so I'll stop there.

PLUS: As if the dainty lace pattern wasn't feminine enough, the pinkish nude underlay makes this even more feminine! I love the "concealed" low-cut top and of course the open back! Another plus, I have the perfect pair of Gucci pumps that matches the underlay.
MINUS: Another one that is a touch big on me! I wish it fit snug like it does on the model but the way it fits now is more appropriate for the event. If I'm going to go with this one, after tomorrow's event I would probably have it taken in at the sides so that it is a better fit.

PLUS: The sequin sleeve on this open front and back caught my eye when it was on the hanger! The sequins are subtle enough to keep this dress more on the plain-side but when needed, like under some disco ball, it adds just the right amount of sparkle. I also don't think I have to reiterate the fact that I love, love, LOVEEEE open back dresses right?
MINUS: The ruching down the front and back of the dress is too extreme. While the ruching doesn't stand out too much on this dress, I think it would've been better down the side instead of the front and back. Unfortunately the ruching is reminiscent of a sausage; this is the kind of ruching one gets when they wear something super tight (see ruching in first dress).

Nine dresses later and with less than 24 hours to go, I am still uncertain about what to wear! Most likely it will be one of the dresses from this post but I am not sure which one yet. I better choose something quick though because I have to figure out accessories, get my nails done, and hope my haircut in the morning goes well!!
What do you readers think? Out of these, which is the best? How about out of the nine? Any suggestions on accessories?
