As you may notice, I am a walking faux pas fashion billboard today. First the most noticeable - white after Labor Day, oh no! In my defense, there is no true winter in CA so I technically could wear my white denim year round. And secondly - black and brown, double yikes! Can't defend myself there but look, isn't the brown teddy bear collar on my black sweater just so cute?

To tone down the spring/summer aspect of white denim (light floral tops and white denim is the perfect uniform for spring) I wore my denim with darker colors and tied in the outfit with a pair of flat suede boots. The sharp contrast between the white and the brown/black draws attention to the darker items and allows me to wear white in the winter!

Please excuse Rufus's behind; he was too busy sniffing for a new spot to mark to pay any attention. Figured I would give my jeans a rotation and changed it up from skinnies to bootcuts today. Wearing Paige today, one of my favorite denim brands because of their consistent sizing overall and perfect length with no hemming necessary from their petite line.

I was unbearably warm today! This cardigan look and felt thin but boy did it pack a pocket of warmth; this might be TMI but I had little sweat bullets forming throughout the day and I wasn't doing any type of strenuous activity. But hey, T.G.I.F.!!  What are your plans for this lovely evening?  Any plans for the weekend?

I think I am opposite most people in that I tend to dress up on the weekend and dress down during the weekdays. Lucky me (sarcasm) I work in a super casual environment so jeans, tshirts, and sneakers (i wear flats though) is sufficient enough for work. Heck, if I wear anything else or even attempt to make my outfit fashionable I will get the "going out tonight?" question from colleagues. Ah, leave it to me to choose the field most opposite to the type of person I am :)
