SIN CITY: Red leather jacket and black textures

Hello from Vegas!  Quick entry as I am using dear boyfriend's data to type this and he doesn't have unlimited data.  We landed yesterday and one of the first things we did after checking in is head to Wicked Spoon.  There was a little wait (and higher holiday pricing) but it lived up the hype, I loved it.
Today was spent roaming around, gambling, and then having a delicious dinner at Gordon Ramsay's Pub & Grill inside Caesar's.  It just opened last Tuesday so it was packed but the environment was quint and the staff was friendly.
A tip I picked up from this trip is that while a clutch is pretty, it definitely is not a practical bag for a fall/winter day in Vegas.  A bigger tote would be the better choice unless you want to spend a few hours napping in the middle of the day/evening because who can resist the bed after a filling meal.  I plead the fifth, I ended up napping for two hours when we were just suppose to go up to the room and grab my tote.  A bigger bag that held my jacket was beneficial as I found myself putting on/taking off my jacket a lot since we were going from a warm heated hotel into the crisp cold air of the strip and vice versa.  It is also more storage room for your winnings (hopefully)!!

A lot of the hotels are preparing for the NYE festivities that will be happening on Monday night and the strip will actually be closed off that evening and into the early hours of 2013!  It will be one big block party basically!  I've never been to Vegas to ring in the New Year so does anyone know if Vegas does this every year?  It will be exciting to see what's in store for the next couple days.  Take care!

    1. I can't take credit for your kind words as it is all from the doing of the designers at Joie, they definitely have a keen eye for detail. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts Alex!
