CASUAL BLAZING: Compositions of a casual blazer

Happy Sunday!  Is everyone enjoying their much deserved weekend?  I sure am!  A quick entry before I head to Boiling Crab with Shane and his mom.
Often times when people think blazers, they think of the structured dark jacket that business men and women wear with matching coordinates.  Over the years though, the blazer has taken on many shapes and form.  Scratch that, it's usually still the same shape/form but made from different materials to evoke a different feeling.
On the weekdays I am dressed very casually and while I could always wear my handy-dandy go-to blazer to get a polished laid-back look, I like to reach for a blazer that is made of a lighter material like cotton for a casual look.  Cotton and cotton-blend clothing tends to be more casual than their counterparts made from materials like silk, polyester, wool, etc.
The added (detachable!) hood is also a component that dresses down this blazer.
