TWEED DELIGHT: Chambray layering with a cool color palette

When I first layered this chambray shirt, I contrasted the cool blue hue with warm tones like tan and browns for Fall.  Now, with weather dropping down to almost 32 degrees at night (cold for CA standards!), I paired the chambray with colors that evoked a mood to match the colder temperatures.
With such a cool color palette on the top half (greys, cream, periwinkle and sky blue), it made sense to wear my one and only suede leggings since suede is a material that is associated with winter wardrobes.  That fashion rule most likely only applies to shoes but regardless, fashion rules are meant to broken and I will surely break it in the Spring.
Joie jacket (similar one on sale) / American Rag polka dot chambray shirt (on sale!) /
Alice + Olivia Suede leggings (similar one on sale and faux version under $50) /
Chloe pumps (black ones 50% off, burgundy ones only $234,) / Talbots necklace / Goldenbleu clutch

These pictures were so much fun to take and taking them made a very memorable BART ride into the city.  Without this blog, and more importantly, without all the wonderful love and support from you, I never would've thought to turn a BART ride into a picture opportunity.  Thank you dearly for your time :)

  1. I was thinking the same thing about BART, only you could make a BART ride look so glamorous!
