It's hump day! Happy Wednesday! You know those stories you hear (or what you see in movies and on TV shows) about a kid receiving a costume of their favorite superhero or princess and wanting to wear the costume every.single.day for weeks if not months? I never had that experience growing up as my family was not big on costumes and celebrating Halloween. I remember walking through the annual Halloween parade in elementary school as Snow White for three years straight, each year the costume getting shorter and shorter because I outgrew it and of course I was never even close to winning the best costume in that parade, haha. However, almost two decades later, I think I am now that kid and this outfit is that costume.
Ted Baker flare dress (midi dress, full skirt, and gathered sheath dress in same print) / D&G belt (also worn here) /
Pearl necklace from Taiwan, Guess bracelet (Similar from Kate Spade or Michael Kors) /
Louis Vuitton Mary Kate clutch / Gucci Gloria pumps (now 50% off! And a similar pointy toe pair)
Crazy obsessing aside we had a delightful once-in-a-lifetime dinner on Saturday that was filled with a carefully thought out menu, priceless memories, and a few embarrassing stories. Depending on how much I want to embarrass myself, I may share those stories in the next entry so stay tuned. In the meantime, have a lovely day and take care!
